If I had a search engine that would rank coaches by their content, would I penalize blatant blog sharing in discussion groups?
Would I give priority to real group participants who get people to engage?

If I were LinkedIn (which has a search engine) I would pull up profiles that were more active, more engaged, and more liked.
I bet, at some point, SEO gurus, Search Marketers, and the like will have a “leadership factor” that gives engaged content more weight in search results positioning.
After all, as users (of search engines), we seek new, fresh, smart, useful, and loved (that social proof thingie) content. Right?
