Best Headset for Zoom Calls While Traveling and in Noisy Cafes and Not Looking Weird
I looked at a lot of headsets – wired, wireless, microphone, no mic, mic in ear, and wanted one that worked well in noisy places, mainly cafes, was small and light for travel, and didn’t make me look like a space monkey (not big and bulky) 😉
This is it (for now!):
SteelSeries Tusq in-Ear Mobile Gaming Headset
It’s for gaming, so I guess it’s got some tech to make it work well.
It’s pretty solid. Little microphone extension bit is detachable, which was good one time when I just wanted it as a headset while walking.
The mic is quite subtle, so it doesn’t look too weird. Clean, sophisticated, non-distracting.
I am a little leary that I might lose the microphone bit one day, so that’s a little bit of a minus.
The fact that it’s wired is perfect because it doesn’t need charging, and the bluetooth technology can get hiccupy in phone calls. The wire is a solid, fast connection.
Solid headset for mobile, travel, somewhat-noisy cafe.
