Nutrition Coach Homepage Redesign

Homepage Glow-Up for Nutrition Coach Sonia

Sonia Grant is a nutrition coach at empowerandnourish.com. She is a plant-based nutrition and lifestyle coach helping older, wiser folks find fresh energy to live fully, fight disease, and gain control of their health.

She’s not a techie, and her coaching website is on the Coaches Console platform. Her work situation is slowly coming to an end. And mid-way through life, having found a nutrition plan that energizes her, she wants to help others revitalize.

In this glow-up, I share a little trade secret — “Ask the audience.” I’ve enhanced a step in the process to incorporate some of my design cronies around the Web. Enjoy this one!

1. The BEFORE Screenshot

Her website in October 2025. This “above the fold” area gives visitors a sense of what she’s about. It’s a bit scattered, lacks excitement, and the colors are off. It’s time for a makeover.

2. The AFTER Image (1 of 2)

Compositionally much better, but the hero image is meh. You can see it feels more organized and easier to follow than before. But the hero image isn’t cutting it — it looks too cropped, and the background isn’t clear.

3. The AFTER AFTER Design (2 of 2)

My design pals wanted more authenticity and direct messaging. So we added specifics about what she does and pulled in an action photo. This feels real, professional, and clear. Nice!

5. The Trick to Making Perfect

In this homepage redesign, I took my process one step further. I pulled the “ask the audience” card from the Who wants to be a millionaire?” game show. I asked my web design buddies for feedback on my first draft. They helped take things up a level.

For you, to bring your website closer to amazing, go outside of your own head and invite others to give feedback. Ask clients, friends, designers, and marketers for input.

Then get your site out to the world and see how it performs. The best websites —the most perfect ones — drive results for your marketing efforts. Did you meet your business goals? If so, that website is perfect. 😛
