Kenn at the cafe

Kenn, does your book deal with creating funnels as well?

A coach asked me, “Does your guide deal with creating funnels as well?”

And here’s my short answer …

A funnel is a series of steps that potential clients go through that ends in an offer to buy something.

In the guide, I discuss an approach that includes key pages, an email list, a freebie, and an initial consult invitation.

It’s NOT sales, noisy, loud, forceful, or in-your-face.

Instead, it’s subtle, smooth, respectful, and inviting — kinda like coaching.

Coaches will use various front-end tactics to “fill the funnel” — like ads, networking, giving talks, articles, podcasts, free groups, and more. These topics are outside the scope of this book.

(Though I couldn’t help but write about blogging, which is good for both increasing traffic and gaining trust — like a professional).

I find cold direct messages, most ads, and junk email repulsive. Maybe that’s just me 😉
