Back 20+ years ago, I had a hard time staying in an office job that wasn’t using my best talents. It was difficult because it was boring, and deep down, I felt like I was wasting away.

I think we (maybe not everyone) need to grow, experience, explore, be challenged, and learn in order to be happy.

If it were back in caveman days, it would have been simple — find food, survive the wild, and reproduce. That was enough work.

Nowadays, for you and I, first-world countries, full of tech, we’re beyond survival basics (even though it might not seem so, lol), the challenge is now to find worthwhile mountains to climb. (Cause if you don’t you go nuts.)

Yes, I’m a web designer, so I shouldn’t be getting all too philosophical here, right?

But, in my pursuit, I need to feel good about my efforts. And that led me back to my childhood passion to “create on computers” as a child of the Commodore 64.
