The KEY to an Enticing Coaching Services Page

Most service pages that coaches make on their websites are a bit “eh.”

They are typically “coaching packages” offering a fixed number of sessions, how coaching calls work, the intake form, and a fee.

They often mention a novel coaching approach like NLP or offer a special assessment like The Wheel of Life.

If you’re lucky, it may also have a novel add-on like a laser coaching session or access-the-coach by email.

While these “doings of coaching” are neat, they aren’t all that exciting to the client.

If you’ve ever tried to explain any of these “features” of your coaching, you’ll probably sense lackluster from your prospect.

People go on vacations for relaxation, enjoyment, fun, and excitement. Not to …

They don’t go on vacations to sit on planes, wait in airport lines, feel tired from jet lag, and deal with rude travelers.

Similarly, your new coaching service needs to shine on the better future — the value, the results, the benefits.

For example, for a relationship coach for couples, write about:

  • Rekindle that flame you had in the beginning
  • Eradicate those flare-ups that ruin the day
  • Feel those warm fuzzies again — and new adventures for your future together

Make sense?

While both are true — (1) there’s work to do in coaching and (2) there are benefits of coaching, it’s #2 that the client wants.

Keep their eyes on the prize — to both get them on board as a client AND to keep them motivated (your job as a coach!).

I’ve gone step-by-step writing formulas for all the pages of your website in my book, The Coaching Website Guide. It talks about your website as a conversation mechanism as a whole.

So, remember, for your new service idea, talk about the future dream, the pains that’ll go away, and how life will be better — rather than all the coaching do’s, tools, or techniques.

The value is really what the client wants.
